Double-mast sailing rig
For all those who are interested in more challenging sailing with their kayak, Canadian canoe or folding-canoe, em² has developed the Albatross + sailing rig.
The Albatross + has an approximately 20% larger sail surface compared to the Mistral +, thus more experienced sailors are challenged. The perfectly tailored, trimmable sails generate amazing propulsion, are suitable for heavier kayaks and you'll have no problem running upwind with your boat. The perfect sheet management guarantees relaxed, single-handed sailing, even with three sails. They are more responsive to the rudder.
For safety reasons we strongly recommend using one of the em² Outriggers when sailing with the Albatross +.

- Ketch rigging with 7.7m2 sail area
- Jib, main sail, and Besan sail out of robust polyester sailcloth with reinforced head, tack, and clew
- Furling system for the jib
- Masts out of streamlined aluminium body with frame grooved track, all necessary fittings and shrouds out of dyneema
- Perfectly positioned attachment points for all running lines
