It is placed in the bow or stern of your sailing kayak, wedges itself naturally into the hull, and stays securely in place – with no additional straps required.
When sailing a kayak, extra buoyancy is essential: after a capsize, the boat fills with water, freeboard drops, and every wave washes back in – making bailing nearly impossible.
