Albatross main mast
The Albatross main mast is 50cm higher than the Mistral mast. The mast profile has a length of 350cm, the mast is 4 metres high for Canadian canoes. Therefore, it is elaborately rigged with forestay and two additional shrouds at the top. The luff groove is milled out for threading.
The mast height is adapted to the boat:
Kayak/ folding kayak: extension by 28cm, mast height 378cm
Canadian canoe: extension by 50cm, mast height 400cm
